Deepika Padukone visit to Tirupati Temple
On December 14, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, along with her sister Anisha, made a special visit to the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirupati. The duo had a darshan on Friday morning, seeking blessings from the deity.
A video of her climbing the steps of the temple, barefoot, alongside her sister and golfer Anisha Padukone, has gone viral on social media. The actress, known for her devotion, walked for two and a half hours along the Alipiri footpath to reach the temple premises on the night of December 14.
She and her team stayed at the Radheyam guest house in Tirumala. The following morning, they had a VIP pass for the darshan. The actress and her sister walked barefoot on the steps, displaying their reverence for the temple and its traditions.
Deepika Padukone has had a successful year in 2023, with two blockbuster hits, “Pathaan” and “Jawan,” alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Her upcoming film, “Fighter,” starring Hrithik Roshan, is set to release in theaters on January 25, 2024. In “Fighter,” she will be portraying the role of Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, also known as Minni.
