Kawasaki W175 Street Motorcycle Launch
Kawasaki has recently launched the new W175 Street motorcycle in India, captivating motorcycle enthusiasts with its retro-classic style. Priced at ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom), this model offers affordability without compromising on performance. With a compact yet powerful 177 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine, the W175 Street is set to become one of the most sought-after Kawasaki motorcycles in India.
Unveiled at the India Bike Week 2023, the Kawasaki W175 Street is designed to cater to the Indian market. Deliveries for this model are scheduled to begin in December 2023. The motorcycle boasts a retro-themed circular multi-reflector headlamp with a chrome bezel, adding to its classic charm. It is available in Candy Emerald Green and Metallic Moondust Gray colours.
The W175 Street joins the existing W175 in Kawasaki’s portfolio, which is priced slightly higher at ₹1.47 lakh (ex-showroom). The standard W175 is available in Ebony and Candy Persimmon Red paint options. Both models follow the retro-classic styling ethos of the W175.
Built on a semi-double cradle frame, the W175 Street features a semi-digital retro-themed instrument cluster and runs on alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. It offers reliable braking performance with a 270 mm front disc and single-channel ABS. The motorcycle is equipped with telescopic front forks and dual-shock rear suspension for a comfortable ride.
Under the hood, the Kawasaki W175 Street is powered by a 177 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine paired with a five-speed transmission. This powertrain delivers a peak power of 12.82 bhp at 7,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
With its attractive design, affordable pricing, and reliable performance, the Kawasaki W175 Street is set to make a mark in the Indian motorcycle market.
