In an unexpected turn of events, iQOO has decided to cancel the LCQ Stage of its highly anticipated BGMI LAN Event 2024. Instead, the focus will now shift to the recently concluded iQOO Pro Series, where all the finalists will be competing. The LAN Event is scheduled to take place from February 22 to February 24, 2024, at the Noida Indoor Stadium in Delhi NCR.

Interestingly, the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Finals will also be hosted at the same venue from February 16 to February 18, 2024. Initially, iQOO had planned for the LAN Event to feature 16 BGMI teams, including the top 11 from the Pro Series Finals, two invited clubs (Soul and GodLike), and the top three squads from the LCQ. However, with the cancellation of the LCQ phase, the LAN Event will now solely showcase the Pro Series 2024 finalists, including GodLike and Soul.

With a total prize pool of ₹40 lakh, the three-day contest promises to be intense and exciting. The 16 squads participating in the iQOO BGMI LAN Event 2024 are Entity Gaming, Team Soul, Team Tamilas, Medal Esports, Team XSpark, Blind Esports, Hydra Esports, OR Esports, Gujarat Tigers, Dark Spirit Esports, Gods Reign, Skulltz Esports, GodLike Esports, Revenant Esports, FS Esports, and Carnival Gaming.

The Pro Series Finals, held on January 31, 2024, and February 1, 2024, saw all the listed teams compete in 12 matches. Entity Gaming emerged as the winners, led by Saumraj. Their aim now is to secure victory at the upcoming LAN Event. Team Soul also displayed a strong performance, finishing second at the Pro Series Finals. They will be looking to improve their form and potentially claim their first major BGMI trophy.

Team XSpark secured the fifth spot in the Pro Series Finals, with their player, NinjaJod, being named the MVP for his exceptional performances. Bind, Hydra, and OR Esports had decent runs and secured their spots in the top 10. On the other hand, Gods Reign, Revenant, and GodLike Esports had underwhelming performances in the Pro Series Finals and will be aiming for redemption at the LAN Event.

FS Esports, led by Aaru, faced struggles in the Pro Series Finals, while Carnival Gaming couldn’t replicate their earlier form from the Group Stage. Both teams will be looking to bounce back and make their mark at the LAN Event.

The iQOO BGMI LAN Event 2024 promises to be a thrilling showcase of talent and competition, as the top teams battle it out for glory and a chance to claim their share of the impressive prize pool.
