Pune-based electric vehicle manufacturer, Tork Motors, has recently revealed a reduced price for its electric motorcycle, the Kratos R. The bike now comes with a price tag of Rs. 1,49,999 (ex-showroom, pan India), making it approximately Rs. 37,000 more affordable than its previous price of Rs. 1.87 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). This discounted price will only be valid until 31 March 2024.
Despite the price reduction, Tork Motors has not made any changes to the design, hardware, features, battery, or motor of the Kratos R. The motorcycle retains its original specifications and capabilities. It is equipped with a 4kWh battery connected to a 9kW (peak power) motor, providing a maximum range of 180km and a top speed of 105kmph. The Kratos R offers three ride modes – Eco, City, and Sport.
In terms of features, the Kratos R boasts a digital instrument cluster, regenerative braking, reverse mode, mobile connectivity, USB charging, anti-theft system, front storage box, OTA updates, geofencing, find my vehicle, motor walk assist, crash alert, track mode, and smart charge analysis. The motorcycle is equipped with telescopic front forks and a monoshock suspension system, along with front and rear disc brakes with ABS. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 90/80 front and 120/80 rear tyres.
The Tork Kratos R is available in five attractive paint schemes – Jet Black, Innocent White, Streaky Red, Midnight Black, and Oceanic Blue.
