Team Soul Takes the Lead on Day 1 of Skyesports BGMI Champions Series 2024 Finals

After an action-packed Day 1 of the Skyesports BGMI Champions Series 2024 Finals, Team Soul emerged as the frontrunners, leading the overall leaderboard with an impressive 74 points after six intense matches. Led by Manay, the Team Soul lineup showcased consistent gameplay throughout the day, securing one Chicken Dinner along the way.

Blind Esports also had a strong showing, winning two matches and securing the second spot on the leaderboard with 66 points. Orangutan Gaming accumulated 46 points, holding the third spot on the table. CS, Entity, and XSpark each collected 33 points in the six matches played on Day 1.

Medal Esports captured the ninth spot with 32 points and one Chicken Dinner. Team Tamilas, known for their strong performance in the Semifinals, scored 28 points in their first six matches of the Finals. On the other hand, Revenant, Windgod, and Reckoning had a slower start, posting only 21 points each on the leaderboard. Dragon Esports, an underdog in the competition, struggled and ranked 16th with 12 points.

The day kicked off with WSB Gaming making a strong statement, securing a 22-point victory in the first round on Erangel. Blind Esports followed suit with a stellar performance, clinching 14 points and their first Chicken Dinner thanks to Skipz’s seven kills. Team Soul also displayed their prowess, earning 12 points, with Nakul making an impact with four eliminations.

Blind Esports continued their dominance on Miramar, securing their second Chicken Dinner of the day with 15 points. Orangutan Gaming, Hydra, and Team Soul also had notable performances, earning 15, 11, and 10 points respectively. Reckoning managed to pick up seven points, courtesy of Hunterz’s five eliminations.

Team Tamilas claimed victory in the third encounter on Sanhok, earning 14 points. Team Soul maintained their consistent play, securing 13 points. Chemin Esports and Entity Gaming collected 11 points each, while Orangutan and Medal were knocked out without scoring any points in this game.

Switching to the fourth battle on Vikendi, Blind Esports continued their winning streak, capturing their second Chicken Dinner with 18 points. Chemin Esports registered 14 points, with their BGMI player Venom making an impact with four eliminations. Aerobotz and Orangutan managed to secure nine points each.

In the fifth game on Miramar, Medal Esports emerged victorious, conquering the battlefield with 17 points. Entity Gaming played aggressively, earning 17 points, and their BGMI veteran Gamlaboy showcased his skills with seven kills. Team Soul and XSpark secured 14 and 11 points respectively.

Team Soul ended the day on a high note, putting up a splendid performance on Erangel and claiming a stunning 23-point Chicken Dinner. Their athlete, Joker, stood out with eight eliminations. Orangutan gained 15 points, while Team XSpark secured nine points.
