Upthrust BGMI India Rising 2024: Schedule, Format, and Participating Teams
The Upthrust BGMI India Rising 2024 tournament is set to take place from March 5 to 28, featuring a total of 32 teams competing for a prize pool of ₹15 lakh. While six teams have qualified through the qualifiers, the remaining 26 have secured direct slots in the tournament.
Fans can catch all the action live on Upthrust Esports’ YouTube and Loco channels at 5 pm IST. The tournament will kick off with the Elimination Week, held from March 5 to 10, where the bottom eight teams from the overall standings will face elimination. The remaining 24 teams will proceed to the two-week League Stage.
During the League Stage, teams will participate in four-day qualifiers each week, with the top 16 teams advancing to the Weekly Finals. The overall standings in the League Stage will be determined by the total points accumulated in these two Weekly Finals.
The Grand Finals, featuring the top 16 teams from the League Stage, will take place from March 25 to 28. The entire event will follow a 10-point scoring system.
The prize distribution for the tournament is as follows: ₹2 lakh for the Elimination Week, ₹8 lakh for the League Stage, and ₹5 lakh for the Grand Finals.
Among the participating teams, several renowned BGMI clubs are looking for a comeback in the India Rising 2024 tournament. Teams like GodLike, Team XSpark, Gods Reign, Gujarat Tigers, and others on the list have faced challenges in recent tournaments and will aim to regain their confidence in this event.
On the other hand, in-form teams such as Entity, Team Soul, and Chemin will be looking to continue their impressive performances. Carnival Gaming, Revenant, and Orangutan have also showcased their prowess in previous events.
Additionally, six underdog teams that have qualified through the open qualifiers will have the opportunity to display their strength against experienced sides in the tournament.
The Upthrust BGMI India Rising 2024 promises to be an exciting battleground for these teams as they compete for glory and a share of the ₹15 lakh prize pool.
