Impressive Performance by Team XSpark
Day 1 of the Upthrust BGMI India Rising 2024 Week 1 Qualifier kicked off on March 12 with Team XSpark making a strong impression. They secured the top spot on the leaderboard, accumulating 54 points in four games. Led by Shadow, the team showcased their skills with 40 eliminations. SprayGod emerged as the star athlete of the day, contributing 17 kills to their overall performance.
Close Competition from Team Soul
Team Soul proved to be a formidable competitor, securing the second position in the overall standings with 51 points. They showcased their consistency by securing two Chicken Dinners in four matches. Spower stood out as the star performer for the team, racking up 10 eliminations.
Other Notable Performances
Hydra Official claimed the third position with 37 points and one Chicken Dinner. Gujarat Tigers and Team 8Bit secured fourth and fifth places with 37 and 35 points, respectively. Team Tamilas and GodLike Esports both secured 34 points each in their four matches.
The remaining teams had a mixed performance on Day 1. Gods Reign, led by Destro, secured the ninth position with 25 points, 15 of which came from kills. Medal Esports and Marcos Gaming managed to accumulate 23 and 20 points, respectively. Team Forever had a mediocre run, earning just 20 points. Carnival Gaming had a difficult day, collecting only 11 points in their four encounters. Orangutan Gaming and Team Psyche struggled to perform well and scored nine and seven points, respectively.
Renowned BGMI squads, Entity Gaming and Global Esports, claimed only seven and four points, respectively. They will be aiming to improve their rankings in the remaining three days of the weekly qualifier.
