Team Soul Dominates the First Weekly Finals of Upthrust BGMI India Rising

The first weekly finals of the Upthrust BGMI India Rising tournament concluded on March 17 after 12 intense matches. Team Soul emerged as the best performing club, showcasing exceptional gameplay and securing the top spot with 140 points. Led by Manya, the squad dominated the week, earning a staggering 85 points. They displayed their prowess by securing four chicken dinners, while their star players, Spower and Rony, picked up 24 and 22 eliminations respectively. As a result, they were awarded ₹1.5 lakh in prize money.

Hydra Official finished second in the finals, accumulating 114 points with 55 frags. The Dreams-led roster showcased impressive gameplay from the very beginning and maintained a consistent pace throughout. For their outstanding performance, they received a cash reward of ₹1 lakh.

Team Tamilas secured the third position with 110 points and three chicken dinners. The Mrigl-led lineup showcased significant improvement on the second day, jumping to the third spot and earning ₹75,000 in prize money.

Gujarat Tigers secured the fourth place on the leaderboard with 92 points. Their BGMI star, Wixxky, was the second-best player in the weekly finals with 23 kills. Marcos Gaming claimed the fifth spot with 79 points, followed by Enigma Gaming with 68 points.

Team Forever and Genxfm Esports secured the seventh and eighth positions respectively with 63 points each. Gods Reign, led by BGMI prodigy Destro, secured the tenth spot with 51 points and one chicken dinner. Team Aaru and 8bit collected 47 points each, having a below-average run in the finals. Godlike Esports ranked 14th with 45 points after a disappointing performance. Team Xspark also struggled to find their rhythm and ended up in the 15th spot with 42 points.

Carnival Gaming, led by BGMI pro Omega, had a challenging run, collecting only 20 points in 12 matches. They will be looking to make a comeback in the second week of the India Series 2024.
