Registration for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024
The registration for the highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 will begin on March 19. This prestigious three-month-long competition is open to all players from across the nation. To register your team, you can visit the Krafton India Esports website.
Prize Pool and Format
An enormous prize pool of ₹2 crore has been allocated for the BGIS event, with the top squad taking home ₹60 lakh. Krafton has also announced the full structure and format for the upcoming BGIS. The qualifier, known as “The Grind,” will start on April 4, 2024, with 256 invited teams. Meanwhile, all registered squads will directly participate in the main event, which begins on May 2 and continues until June 30.
Registration Process for BGIS 2024
To register for BGIS 2024, each participant’s BGMI account must be at least level 25 and Platinum V. Here is a step-by-step guide for the registration process:
1. Go to the Krafton India Esports website.
2. Click on the “Go to Dashboard” banner and enter your email ID. Verify your email ID with the received OTP.
3. Provide your details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, and username.
4. Complete the ID verification process by entering your Aadhar card details and uploading its images.
5. Verify your in-game ID by uploading a screenshot of the basic info tab in your BGMI game profile. Also, provide your in-game ID, username, and location.
6. Tap on all four square tabs and then click on the “Complete Registration” banner.
Format for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024
The entire event will be organized in a 10-point scoring system. The Grind will feature 256 teams competing for 64 slots in the BGIS 2024. The main event will include 1024 teams selected from the in-game qualifiers. The first four rounds of the India series will run from May 2 to 26. The wildcard entry stage with 64 teams is scheduled for May 30 to June 2. The semifinals will take place from June 6 to 16, and the grand finals will be held from June 28 to 30. The publisher is yet to announce whether the finals will be played offline or online.
