Registration for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024
The registration for the highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 has officially begun. Players can register their squads for the India Series 2024 through Krafton India Esports’ official website. The registration process requires details such as email ID, name, date of birth, mobile number, Aadhar card, in-game ID, and more.
Format and Dates
The BGIS 2024 will feature an exciting format that has been revealed by Krafton. The event will kick off with “The Grind,” a qualifier contest, starting from April 4 to April 28. During this four-week contest, 256 well-known teams will be directly invited, with the top 64 moving on to the main event.
These 256 teams will be seeded into 16 groups, competing for a chance to qualify for the next rounds. The top 16 teams will directly advance to BGIS Round 4, while teams ranked 17th to 32nd will move on to Round 3. Teams ranked 33rd to 64th will proceed to Round 2.
The initial four rounds of BGIS 2024 will be held from May 2 to May 26, followed by the wildcard stage from May 30 to June 2. The semifinals will be hosted across the weeks from June 4 to June 16. Finally, the grand finals, featuring the top 16 teams, are scheduled for June 28 to June 30.
Prize Pool Distribution
The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024 boasts a prize fund of ₹2 crore, with the winner taking home ₹60 lakh. The second and third ranks will receive ₹30 lakh and ₹20 lakh, respectively. Additionally, there will be individual awards such as Most Valuable Player (BGIS), Most Finishes, Lone Survivor, and Rampage, each with their own cash prizes.
All teams have been diligently preparing for the event since the beginning of the year. The previous editions of BGIS were won by Skylights and Gladiators Esports, and it will be fascinating to see which club will secure the crown in the third edition.
