The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently released the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 examination. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check the answer key on the board’s official website, ctet.nic.in. Along with the answer keys, scanned images of candidates’ OMR responses have also been uploaded.
To check the CTET 2024 provisional answer key, follow these steps:
1. Visit the official website of CTET, ctet.nic.in.
2. Look for the link to the provisional answer key for the January 2024 examination.
3. Click on the link to access the answer key.
4. You will be redirected to a new page where you can view and download the answer key.
5. Compare your answers with the ones provided in the answer key to calculate your estimated score.
Candidates are also given the opportunity to raise objections to the provisional answer key. However, a fee of ₹1,000 per question is required to be paid for each objection. If the board accepts the challenges, a policy decision will be made, and the fee will be refunded. The official notification states, “There is a provision for the candidates to challenge the answer keys through the link available on the website https://ctet.nic.in/ from 07/02/2024 to 10/02/2024 (up to 11.59 PM). A fee of Rs. 1000/- per question is required to be submitted through credit/debit card. The fee once paid is non-refundable.”
The CTET January 2024 examination was conducted on January 21 at 3,418 test centers in 135 cities across the country. A total of 26,93526 candidates were registered for both papers, with approximately 84% of them appearing for the exam. Out of the total registered candidates, 9,58,193 were for paper 1 (classes 1-5) and 17,35,333 were for paper 2 (classes 6 to 8).
In addition to the CTET answer key, the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has also released the admit card for exams scheduled from February 12 to February 18. Candidates who will be appearing for these exams can download the admit card from the official website at dsssb.delhi.gov.in. The exams include positions such as Laboratory Assistant, Surveillance Worker, Craft Instructor- Basic Cosmetology (for NTC/STC/NAC Holders), and Craft Instructor Refrigeration.
