Hero MotoCorp recently showcased its highly anticipated Xoom 160 at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 in India. The maxi-scooter boasts an impressive design and a host of exciting features that are sure to appeal to adventure enthusiasts.
The Hero Xoom 160 exudes a robust and muscular appearance, thanks to its tall stance and intricately designed bodywork. The front fascia is adorned with a split LED headlight, complemented by a smoked visor and a small beak, giving it a distinctive and pronounced look.
Under the hood, the Xoom 160 is powered by a 156cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This adventure-oriented scooter generates 14bhp at 8,000rpm and 13.7Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The power is transmitted to the wheels via a CVT unit, ensuring a smooth and effortless ride.
In terms of features, the Xoom 160 does not disappoint. It comes equipped with a fully digital console, LED illumination, keyless ignition, remote seat opening, remote find, smartphone connectivity, and navigation. Additionally, riders can conveniently charge their devices on-the-go with the USB charging port.
The Xoom 160 offers a comfortable and stable ride, thanks to its telescopic front forks and dual rear springs. The braking system consists of a single disc and drum setup with ABS, providing reliable stopping power. The scooter rides on alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless MRF tyres, offering excellent grip and stability on various terrains.
