Kinetic Green, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has recently launched the Kinetic E-Luna electric moped. The new electric moped was introduced on Wednesday, February 7, with an introductory price of ₹69,990 (ex-showroom). Pre-bookings for this eco-friendly vehicle opened on January 26 for a minimal amount of ₹500.
The E-Luna is equipped with a fixed and swappable lithium-ion battery of 2 kWh, providing a range of 110 km on a single charge. Powered by a 2.2 kW motor, the moped can reach a top speed of 50 km/h. To ensure hassle-free charging, the vehicle comes with a 10-ampere charger and a charging cable that can be used with any normal 220V, 15A, 3-pin earthed socket. It takes approximately four hours to fully charge the vehicle.
Kinetic Green plans to introduce variants of the E-Luna with 1.7 kWh and 3 kWh battery packs, catering to different customer preferences. The moped boasts several features, including a fully digital LCD instrument console, a side-stand sensor, a USB charging port, convenient bag hooks, and a detachable rear seat. It is available in vibrant colors such as mulberry red, ocean blue, pearl yellow, sparkling green, and night star black.
Customers can currently book the E-Luna on the company’s website, with deliveries expected to begin soon from Kinetic Green’s dealerships. Additionally, the moped will also be available for purchase on popular e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, the founder and CEO of Kinetic Green, stated that the E-Luna aims to provide an alternative to traditional petrol two-wheelers, catering to the evolving preferences of customers.
With a focus on tier-2 and tier-3 cities, Kinetic Green is determined to make the E-Luna accessible to a wider audience, encouraging the adoption of electric vehicles and contributing to a greener future.
