Team XSpark has made a significant addition to their BGMI squad ahead of the highly anticipated iQOO BGMI India League 2024. After a series of disappointing performances in the ESL BGMI Pro Series 2024, where they failed to secure a spot in the LAN Finals, the team decided to bring in a new IGL to lead them to success. The organization has recruited the rising talent, Shadow, in their quest for better results.
Over the past 10 months, the Team XSpark roster has undergone several changes. In their pursuit of improvement, they recently signed Tussar “Dreams” Jain as their fifth player, but the owner, “scout,” stated that it is entirely up to Dreams if he wants to explore other opportunities. Additionally, NinjaJod, a former player for TSM and Gods Reign, joined the team last month.
The squad for the iQOO BGMI India League 2024 consists of Sarangajyoti Deka, known as Sarang, Harsh Malik, also known as Spraygod, Shubham Sahoo, also known as NinjaJod, and the newly recruited Shadow. The team secured their spot in the upcoming tournament after a commendable performance in the iQOO Pro Series, where Dreams led them to a fifth-placed finish, with NinjaJod emerging as the standout player.
Shadow, who previously played for Team Zero and Global Esports, will now take on the role of leading the team in the India League. In 2023, Team XSpark achieved third place in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS), but their performance declined in subsequent tournaments. Following this slump, two players, Pukar and Aditya, left the team, and Spraygod was brought in as a replacement.
With the new IGL and the addition of Shadow, Team XSpark aims to deliver outstanding performances in the India League, which features 16 teams competing for a total prize pool of ₹40 lakh. The champions will walk away with a cash prize of ₹16 lakh. Shadow’s previous experience with Global Esports in the BGMS Season 2, where they secured a strong fourth-placed finish, will undoubtedly contribute to the team’s success.
Looking ahead, Team XSpark will also be preparing for BGIS 2024, set to commence in March. The tournament will see numerous teams from the country vying for the prestigious title. With their revamped roster and renewed determination, Team XSpark is ready to make their mark in the BGMI scene.
