iQOO BGMI India League 2024: All You Need to Know
The iQOO BGMI India League 2024 is set to kick off from February 22 to 24, offering a substantial cash prize pool of ₹40 lakh. The tournament will feature 16 teams battling it out in 18 matches at the Noida Indoor Stadium in Delhi NCR. Fans can witness the action live at the venue by booking tickets through BookMyShow.
The ESL Pro Series Finals will also take place at the same venue from February 16 to 18. Team Soul has secured a direct slot in the India League as they are sponsored by iQOO. GodLike Esports has also earned a special spot in the competition after clinching the iQOO Pro Series title in 2023. The remaining 14 teams qualified through the recently concluded 2024 Pro Series.
The official trailer for the iQOO BGMI India League was unveiled on February 15. The tournament will be livestreamed starting at 3 pm each day, featuring six matches across four maps. Similar to the Pro Series, this tournament will utilize a 10-point scoring system. The team with the highest accumulated points in the 18 matches will be crowned the champion.
Participating teams in the India League include Entity Gaming, Team Soul, Team Tamilas, Medal Esports, Team XSpark, Blind Esports, Hydra Esports, OR Esports, Gujarat Tigers, Dark Spirit Esports, Gods Reign, Skulltz Esports, GodLike Esports, Revenant Esports, FS Esports, and Carnival Gaming.
The BGMI India League will be exclusively broadcasted on the iQOO Esports’ YouTube channel in Hindi at 3 pm IST. The casters for the event have not yet been announced.
Entity Gaming, winners of the Pro Series 2024, showcased exceptional teamwork, with standout performances from Gamlaboy and Pukar. Team Soul, the fan-favorite, narrowly missed out on the Pro Series title. Other teams to watch out for include Team Tamilas, Medal, XSpark, and GodLike Esports, who will be bolstered by the addition of Apollo.
Revenant and Carnival Gaming, despite losing momentum in the Pro Series Grand Finals, will be aiming for a respectable position in the BGMI India League.
