GodLike Esports Announces Roster Changes Ahead of iQOO India League

GodLike Esports co-founder, Amar Chandgude, recently provided updates on the team’s roster during a YouTube livestream. Following a series of modifications last year that didn’t yield the expected results, the Jelly-led roster is preparing to compete in the upcoming iQOO India League LAN Event from February 22 to 24 in Delhi NCR.

Amar confirmed that Apollo has replaced Mac in the club, but aside from this change, there are no further alterations to the roster. GodLike has already registered their players for the upcoming two BGMI tournaments, namely the India League and the Skyesports Champions Series 2024. However, Amar mentioned that if the team performs poorly in these events, they may consider making further changes to the lineup.

The crowd-favorite organization recently fell short of securing a spot in the Grand Finals of the ESL Pro Series. As they gear up for the India League tournament, which will take place at the Noida Indoor Stadium, the same venue as the ESL Pro Series, GodLike Esports aims to make a much-anticipated comeback. The team faced multiple setbacks last year in major tournaments such as the BGIS, BGMS Season 2, and BMPS.

GodLike Esports included Jelly and Aditya in their lineup, with Mac temporarily joining the squad for the ESL Pro Series. The team received a special invite to the India League tournament as the reigning champions of the iQOO Pro Series 2023. Their arch-rivals, Team Soul, have also received a direct invitation, while the remaining 14 participating squads were selected through the Pro Series 2024 edition.

The star player, Jonathan, has been inconsistent since the launch of BGMI in May 2023 and will be looking to regain his form. His performance will be crucial for GodLike Esports in the India League tournament as they strive to get back on track. Apollo, who temporarily joined the team last month, will play for Gujarat Tigers in the ESL Pro Series Finals before representing GodLike in the iQOO India League and the Skyesports Champions Series.

With these roster changes and renewed determination, GodLike Esports aims to secure the iQOO India League trophy and make a mark in the competitive BGMI scene.
