However, it continues to perform well at the box office and is approaching the ₹700 crore mark.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, released around Republic Day, was the first film in 2023 to surpass ₹650 crore at the worldwide box office. Co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Pathaan’s lifetime worldwide gross stands at ₹1055 crore. Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Rajinikanth’s Jailer, released in August, also achieved the ₹650 crore milestone.
Jawan, another blockbuster starring Shah Rukh Khan, grossed ₹1160 crore worldwide. With two successful films already in 2023, all eyes are now on his upcoming release, Dunki, to see if it can match the roaring box office collections of Pathaan and Jawan.
