Bajaj Auto is all set to unveil the new version of the Chetak electric scooter tomorrow, January 5. The anticipation has been building up as the two-wheeler manufacturer has been teasing various features of the upcoming electric vehicle (EV) through pictures. One of the images showcased a blue-colored scooter equipped with a front disc brake, hinting at enhanced safety features.

The new Chetak will boast a revamped yet retro design, combining classic elements with modern technology. Another picture revealed a semi-circular display, which will provide turn-by-turn navigation, trip information, and an odometer. This addition will undoubtedly enhance the overall riding experience and convenience for the riders.
Leaked documents have also shed light on some notable upgrades that will set the 2024 Bajaj Chetak apart from the Urbane model. One of the key improvements is the inclusion of a larger 3.2 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of 127 km on a single charge. This upgrade replaces the current 2.88 kWh battery, which provides a range of 113 km. Moreover, the charging time for the new battery is expected to be around 4 hours and 30 minutes for a full charge.
