Bajaj Auto has recently teased the launch of an updated version of the Pulsar N150 on its social media platforms. While the details are still under wraps, there are a few speculations about what the new model could bring to the table.
One of the expected updates is the introduction of new paint schemes. Currently available in Ebony Black and Metallic Pearl White, the Pulsar N150 might expand its color options to appeal to a wider range of riders.
Another anticipated addition is a rear disc brake-equipped model. The current Pulsar N150 comes with a front disc setup, but the inclusion of a rear disc brake would enhance safety and potentially bring dual-channel ABS to the bike.
Despite these potential updates, it is expected that the overall design, engine, hardware, and features of the Pulsar N150 will remain unchanged. The bike is powered by a 149.6cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 14.5bhp at 8,500rpm and 13.5Nm at 6,000rpm. It is equipped with a five-speed gearbox.
In terms of features, the Pulsar N150 boasts a semi-digital instrument console displaying essential information such as speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel level indicator, and clock. Safety features include single-channel ABS and a side-stand cut-off sensor.
The hardware on the Pulsar N150 includes telescopic front forks and a monoshock, while the braking system currently consists of a front disc and rear drum setup. These components are mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels.
The current ex-showroom price of the Pulsar N150 is Rs. 1,17,677 in Delhi. It competes with other popular models in the segment such as the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Suzuki Gixxer, and the Hero Xtreme 160R.
As of now, we await further details from Bajaj Auto regarding the official launch and pricing of the updated Pulsar N150. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development in the world of motorcycles.
