Krafton’s BGMI 3.1 Update Podcast Reveals Exciting Features
Krafton recently uploaded the BGMI 3.1 update podcast video on their official Instagram handle, hosted by renowned caster Ankiiibot. The video featured popular players like Lolzzz Gaming, Spower, Omega, and Goblin as guests. In the podcast, these gamers provided insights on the upcoming 3.1 update’s new features, creating a huge buzz in the Indian mobile gaming community.
Announced BGMI 3.1 Update Features
One of the most anticipated features of the BGMI 3.1 update is the Skyhigh Spectacle mode. This mode will be added to the classic mode maps of Erangel, Miramar, and Livik, introducing exciting additions such as Nimbus Islands, a floating ship, and a magic carpet.
The Nimbus Islands, returning after the Mirror World mode, will float in the air, providing players with an opportunity to land on them and acquire automatic recall cards. These islands also offer great loot, but they act as hot drops.
The Floating Ship, also known as the Sky Treasure Ship, will float in the air and provide players with excellent loot. Players can visit the ship from the ship stops, loot it, and then relaunch themselves. They can even launch fireworks from the ship.
The Magic Carpet will allow players to fly like Aladdin in the themed mode. Additionally, it will act as a shield for a limited time, protecting players from bullets.
Another exciting addition is the World of Wonder (WoW) mode, which features maps created by users. This mode has gained massive popularity in the PUBG Mobile 3.1 update and will now be introduced to the Indian variant, providing Indian gamers with a chance to showcase their creations. The WoW mode includes maps with a parkour feature.
Collaborations and New Skins
The BGMI 3.1 update will reflect the fever of IPL 2024 with a collaboration with the five-time champions, Mumbai Indians. Players can expect new skins for the DP-28, Dacia, a backpack, and a new MI outfit.
Battlegrounds Mobile India has also collaborated with automobile giant Bentley, adding four popular cars – Azure, Flying Spur Mulliner, Batur, and Continental GT Convertible – to the 3.1 update. Players can apply these skins to the Dacia, Coupe RB, Mirado, and UAZ cars. Additionally, a new Ignis X suit, the first X-suit in the game’s Indian version, will be featured in the update.
