The BGMI Multiverse Series Grand Finals kicked off with an exciting opening day, showcasing the skills and strategies of some of the top teams in the tournament. Orangutan Gaming emerged as the frontrunners, securing the prime position with an impressive 77 points. Their performance in the sixth match was particularly outstanding, and they also claimed a Chicken Dinner. AKOP and Wizzgod from the Orangutan Gaming roster ranked first and third in the top fraggers chart, with 15 and 13 kills, respectively.
Global Esports continued their dominant performance from the Semifinals and secured second place with 76 points. The squad showcased their prowess with a 27-point victory in the first game. Beast, a rising star from the team, stood out with 14 eliminations throughout the day.
Hydra Esports made a strong comeback on Day 1 of the Grand Finals, clinching the third position with 57 points. After a relatively average run in the Semifinals, the renowned club found their signature form and even secured an emphatic 21-point Chicken Dinner in the second match.
Team XSpark, despite not claiming any Chicken Dinner, played exceptionally well and scored 53 points, securing the fourth position. The DreamS-led team, which recently recruited BGMI pro Ninjajod, aims to make a strong start to the year by earning a podium finish in this BGMI event.
Team Tamilas, known for their dominant performance in the Semifinals, seized sixth place with 50 points and 21 eliminations. They will be looking to replicate their phenomenal performance in the Finale as well.
The remaining teams, including Medal, TWM Gaming, Reckoning Esports, Entity Gaming, Team 8Bit, GodLike Esports, Team Soul, Chemin, and Revenant, showcased a mix of modest performances and room for improvement.
With 24 matches still to be played in the BGMI Multiverse Series Grand Finals, the competition is far from over. Fans can expect more intense battles and thrilling moments as the teams strive to claim the ultimate victory.
