The BMW CE02 electric scooter has once again been spotted testing in India, this time near Bengaluru. The test mule appears to be ready for production, indicating that the Bavarian EV could be launched in the country soon. Let’s take a closer look at what we can expect from this upcoming electric scooter.

In terms of design, the BMW CE02 boasts a simple yet stylish build. The test mule appears smaller in proportions compared to a full-size electric scooter, featuring LED illumination and a single flat seat with the battery and motor placement below. BMW has also incorporated various features into the CE02, including LED lighting, a reverse gear, keyless operation, a USB charging port, a 3.5-inch TFT screen, and ABS.

Powering the BMW CE02 is a 2kWh battery, which can be configured with either a single or dual battery setup. This allows for a range of 90km and a top speed of 95kmph, or a range of 45km. The scooter is equipped with USD forks and adjustable rear shocks for a comfortable ride, along with a 239mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc for efficient braking. The CE02 rides on 14-inch wheels wrapped in 120/80 and 150/70 section tyres.

It is speculated that BMW may launch the CE02 in India in the coming months, and the company might also utilize the same platform for its future developments. With its compact size, stylish design, and impressive features, the BMW CE02 electric scooter is expected to make a mark in the Indian market, catering to the growing demand for eco-friendly and efficient transportation options.
