On January 19, 2024, HoYoverse officials premiered the Genshin Impact 4.4 Special Program, Vibrant Harriers ALot in Spring Breeze. During the livestream, they unveiled new regions, banners, and a plethora of exciting content awaiting players. Typically, the new version updates are released 10-12 days after the livestream. With the end of the 4.3 Phase II on January 30, 2024, it is safe to assume that the version 4.4 update will launch on January 31, 2024, at 11 AM (UTC 8).

During the livestream, officials also announced the 4.4 banners. Phase I will feature Xianyun (Anemo Catalyst) and Nahida (Dendro Catalyst), both 5-star characters. Phase II will introduce Xiao (Anemo Polearm) and Yae Miko (Electro Catalyst) as the featured 5-star characters. Xianyun, a character from Liyue Harbor, will have a kit focusing on movement, healing, and enabling plunge attacks. Joining her will be Vigilant Yaksha-Xiao, Dendro Archon-Nahida, and Inazuma’s head shrine maiden, Yae Miko.
