Gujarat Tigers, a prominent team in the BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) scene, has made a significant addition to their roster for the upcoming ESL Snapdragon Pro Series 2024. The organization recently welcomed Apollo, a popular player formerly from Revenant Esports, to join their squad.
In their pursuit of success in the major events this year, Gujarat Tigers has been actively recruiting experienced players. With the addition of Apollo, the team has further strengthened their lineup, which already includes four veteran players. The squad, led by Shadow, now boasts a total of five renowned athletes, each bringing their unique skills and expertise to the table.
The Gujarat Tigers’ new roster was unveiled on January 12, and the team has been diligently preparing for their first major tournament with this lineup, the ESL Pro Series. As they gear up for the competition, the club is hopeful of securing a podium finish and making their mark in the BGMI esports scene.
The five-man squad of Gujarat Tigers consists of Clutchgod (Vivek Aabhas), Shadow (Arjun Mandhalkar), MJ (Harshit Mahajan), Wixxky (Deepanshu Yadav), and Apollo (Nishant Iaspal). This talented group of players is ready to showcase their skills and compete against the best teams in the Snapdragon Pro Series Challenge Season.
Currently ranked ninth in the tournament, Gujarat Tigers has accumulated 149 points and 76 kills in 18 matches. With the addition of Apollo, the team is optimistic about climbing up the ranks in the remaining weeks of this stage. The third week of the tournament is set to begin on January 26, 2024, at 4 pm.
Apollo brings three years of experience to the Gujarat Tigers roster, having excelled in multiple major tournaments. Prior to joining Revenant Esports, he had a brief stint at Nigma Galaxy in 2022, playing alongside MJ and Wixxky. Apollo’s impressive performances in the Skyesports Championship 5.0 and the Nodwin BGMI Champions Cup last year helped his team secure second place in both events.
As the team looks ahead to upcoming BGMI events and Krafton’s official tournament, Gujarat Tigers, led by Shadow, is poised to be one of the top contenders. With the talent and experience of their new roster, the team aims to make their mark and achieve success in the competitive BGMI scene.
