Skyesports has recently revealed the format and dates for its highly anticipated event, the BGMI Champions Series 2024. The Open Qualifiers registration commenced on February 5th and interested participants can register through the Skyesports Discord channel.
The Semifinals phase of the tournament is set to begin on February 28th, featuring a total of 24 teams vying for the 16 coveted spots in the Grand Finals. The Grand Finals are scheduled to take place from March 5th to 10th.
In an exciting twist, Skyesports has extended direct invitations to six prominent BGMI clubs for the Semifinals based on their Skyesports rankings. These invited teams include Blind Esports, Team Soul, Revenant Esports, Orangutan Gaming, Gods Reign, and GodLike Esports.
To participate in the Open Qualifiers, interested teams must follow a simple registration process outlined by Skyesports. This includes carefully reading the rule book and registration guidelines available on the Discord channel. Teams must also provide their team name, team tag, and mention the Discord channels of their four players.
It is crucial to adhere to the correct registration format and ensure accurate information is provided. Failure to do so may result in rejection. Successful registrants will receive a role granting access to the Google form for the final step of registration.
Skyesports has also revealed that the upcoming BGMI Champions Series will utilize a 15-point scoring system. However, the exact dates for the Open Qualifiers are yet to be announced.
Last year’s edition of the Champions Series was won by Blind Esports, who have since been signed by Team Soul. Other notable performers from the previous tournament include Orangutan Gaming, Revenant Esports, Gods Reign, and GodLike Esports.
