Tata Motors recently unveiled the Nexon iCNG concept at the Bharat Mobility Expo in New Delhi. This concept previews the upcoming production version of the Nexon CNG, which is expected to hit the market in the near future. The Nexon iCNG concept is based on the recently facelifted Nexon SUV and shares a similar design and features with its petrol and diesel-powered counterparts.
The Nexon CNG will offer Indian customers a wide range of powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, CNG, EV, manual, AMT, and DCT. Once launched, it will become the only vehicle in India to provide such an extensive list of powertrain choices. This reflects Tata Motors’ commitment to offering versatile and eco-friendly mobility solutions to its customers.
In addition to the Nexon iCNG, Tata Motors also showcased other exciting concepts at the expo. These include the Harrier EV, Curvv SUV, and Altroz Racer concept. The Curvv SUV is set to go on sale later this year, while the Altroz is expected to receive a facelift with features inspired by the Racer concept. The Harrier EV, in its production form, will also be available for purchase later this year.
Tata Motors is also gearing up to launch the CNG-powered Tiago and Tigor AMT models in early February. These models will be the first vehicles in India to combine a CNG powertrain with an AMT automatic gearbox, offering customers a convenient and eco-friendly driving experience.
Overall, Tata Motors’ participation in the Bharat Mobility Expo highlights the brand’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and providing a diverse range of mobility solutions to Indian consumers.
