WSB Gaming showcased their exceptional skills and emerged as the champions of the Skyesports BGMI Champions 2024 tournament. With a total of 261 points and five Chicken Dinners, the semi-pro squad proved their mettle throughout the intense competition.
The team’s players, Godz and Raiden, stood out with their impressive performances, securing 52 and 49 kills respectively. Their consistent gameplay and strategic approach led them to victory, earning them a well-deserved cash prize of ₹5 lakh.
Team Soul claimed the first runner-up position with 252 points, showcasing their prowess with 157 eliminations. Led by Manya, the squad displayed exceptional gameplay and secured a podium finish. Although they only managed to secure one Chicken Dinner, their consistent performance in the Finals earned them a prize money of ₹2.5 lakh.
Blind Esports, led by Aadi, secured the second runner-up position with 241 points. The team’s remarkable performance in the last match propelled them to third place in the overall standings. With four Chicken Dinners and 143 kills, they showcased their skill and determination, earning a prize money of ₹1 lakh.
Other notable teams in the tournament included Team Tamilas and Revenant, who secured the fourth and fifth positions respectively with 238 and 233 points. Orangutan Gaming, despite their inconsistent performance, managed to capture the sixth position with 229 points.
Drigger from Orangutan Gaming was recognized as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Finals, exhibiting exceptional skills with 57 eliminations. Entity Gaming, led by BGMI pro Saumraj, faced some setbacks and settled for the ninth position with 216 points.
Chemin Esports and Windgod Esports secured the 10th and 11th spots with 196 and 195 points respectively. Autobotz claimed the 13th position with 179 points, while Team XSpark, led by their new IGL Shadow, ended up in 13th place with 169 points. Dragon Esports, who impressed in the Semifinals, faltered in the Finale and secured the 14th position with 150 points.
Team CS had a challenging event and secured the 15th position with 138 points in the overall standings. Reckoning Gaming, although not performing poorly, ended up in the last position with 112 points in the BGMI Champions Series Grand Finals.
