Mahindra has launched a new variant of the popular Thar SUV – the Earth Edition. Priced from Rs. 15.40 lakhs (ex-showroom), this special edition is based on the Hard Top LX 4×4 variant.
The Mahindra Thar Earth Edition comes in a stunning new Desert Fury colour option, featuring a matte satin finish that adds a touch of ruggedness to its appearance. The SUV stands out with its Earth edition badging on the B-pillar and Desert themed decals on the side profile. The ORVMs come with Desert Fury inserts, while the body coloured grille and alloy wheels with Thar branding further enhance its visual appeal.
Under the hood, the Mahindra Thar Earth Edition retains the same powertrain as the standard Thar. It is powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that delivers a maximum power of 130 bhp and a peak torque of 320 Nm. The SUV comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and a shift-on-the-fly 4×4 transfer case, ensuring excellent off-road capabilities.
