This new model will join the existing lineup, which includes the XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge. The EX90, a seven-seater SUV, made its global debut in 2022 and boasts impressive features.
The top-of-the-range variant of the EX90 is equipped with a powerful 111kWh battery pack, providing a claimed range of 600km on a single charge. It is powered by two electric motors, one on each axle, generating up to 500bhp and 900Nm of peak torque. This ensures a thrilling and responsive driving experience.
For those seeking an entry-level electric SUV, Volvo will also offer the EX30 alongside the EX90. The EX30 comes with a 69kWh battery pack and a twin motor setup. With this configuration, it delivers a claimed range of up to 474km on a full charge. This model provides a more accessible option for customers looking to embrace electric mobility.
In addition to expanding its electric vehicle range, Volvo has also made changes to the nomenclature of its EV lineup globally.
