Royal Enfield has recently launched the Shotgun 650 in India, expanding its lineup of powerful motorcycles. Priced between Rs. 3.59 lakh to Rs. 3.73 lakh (ex-showroom), the Shotgun 650 is available in three variants – Custom Shed, Custom Pro, and Custom Special.

The base-spec Custom Shed trim comes in the Sheetmetal Grey paint scheme, while the mid-spec Custom Pro variant is available in Green Drill and Plasma Blue shades. The top-spec Custom Special iteration stands out with the flagship Stencil White color scheme.

Positioned between the Super Meteor 650 and the Continental GT 650, the Shotgun 650 features a distinctive bobber-like styling. It shares the same chassis as the SM650, but with slightly different bodywork. The motorcycle offers a commanding riding position with a flatter handlebar and centre-set footpegs.

Powering the Shotgun 650 is a 648cc, parallel-twin, oil-cooled engine that delivers 46.4bhp at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm at 5,650rpm. This powerful engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, providing a thrilling riding experience.

In terms of hardware, the Shotgun 650 is equipped with Showa upside-down forks at the front and twin springs at the back. It rides on an 18/17-inch (front/rear) alloy wheel combination, ensuring stability and control. The braking system consists of a 320mm disc at the front and a 300mm rotor at the rear.

The Shotgun 650 also comes with a range of features to enhance the riding experience. It features a full-LED lighting system for improved visibility, Tripper navigation for easy route guidance, a USB charging port for convenience, and a Wingman app that provides essential information such as live location, service reminders, fuel and engine oil levels, and more.

With its impressive performance, stylish design, and advanced features, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is a captivating addition to the Indian motorcycle market. Whether you’re a biking enthusiast or a casual rider, this bobber is sure to turn heads and deliver an exhilarating ride.
