Hyundai Ioniq 7 sneak peak

Hyundai is making waves in the electric vehicle market with its Ioniq lineup, and the next addition to the family is the highly anticipated Ioniq 7. Recently spotted testing on German roads, this three-row electric SUV is set to make its debut in 2024.

Although heavily disguised, the Ioniq 7 features a familiar front fascia with an upright bonnet, slim LED DRLs, and vertically stacked LED headlamps. The exterior design also includes roof rails, a blacked-out roof, flared wheel arches, body-colored ORVMs with turn indicators, and an extended roofline that seamlessly blends into the rear profile. At the rear, expect a clean and minimal design with vertical LED taillights.

Built on Hyundai’s e-GMP electric platform, which is also used in the Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, and EV9, the Ioniq 7 shares its powertrain with the EV9. It is likely to offer multiple variants, with an entry-level version equipped with a 76.1kWh battery pack and a rear-mounted motor producing around 350Nm of torque. For those seeking a longer range, Hyundai may also offer a version with a 99.8kWh battery unit capable of driving over 400km.

In line with its electric siblings, the Ioniq 7 is expected to feature flushed door handles and a pixel theme throughout its design. While details about the interior and additional features are yet to be revealed, Hyundai’s commitment to innovation and sustainability ensures that the Ioniq 7 will offer a compelling and eco-friendly driving experience.

As Hyundai continues to expand its electric vehicle lineup, the Ioniq 7 is set to make a significant impact in the SUV segment. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting addition to the Ioniq family.
