TVS has recently unveiled the flex-fuel version of its popular motorcycle, the Raider 125, at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. This new variant is equipped with TVS’ innovative Flex Fuel Technology (FFT), which allows the motorcycle to run on ethanol fuel blends of up to 85 percent.
The highlight of the TVS Raider 125 flex-fuel version is its compatibility with a wide range of ethanol fuel blends, ranging from E20 to E85. Powered by a reliable 124.8cc single-cylinder engine, this motorcycle delivers a maximum power output of 11.2bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 11.2Nm at 6,000rpm. The engine is mated to a smooth five-speed gearbox, ensuring a responsive and enjoyable riding experience.
In terms of design and features, the TVS Raider 125 flex-fuel version remains unchanged from its standard counterpart. It features LED illumination all around, a fully digital instrument console, optional Bluetooth connectivity, and a combined braking system for enhanced safety.
On the performance front, the TVS Raider 125 flex-fuel version offers a balanced ride with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 80/100 front and 100/90 rear tyres, providing excellent grip and stability on various road conditions. The suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear, ensuring a comfortable and smooth ride.
With the introduction of the flex-fuel version, TVS has expanded the options for eco-conscious riders who prefer ethanol as an alternative fuel. The TVS Raider 125 flex-fuel version combines performance, efficiency, and environmental friendliness, making it an appealing choice for riders looking for a versatile and sustainable motorcycle.
