The TVS Raider 125 has introduced a flex-fuel version at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. This new variant incorporates TVS’ Flex Fuel Technology (FFT), allowing for ethanol blending of up to 85 percent. While the flex-fuel compliant engine is the main highlight, the rest of the TVS Raider 125 remains unchanged.
Under the hood, the motorcycle is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine that can accommodate ethanol fuel blends ranging from E20 to E85. This engine generates 11.2bhp at 7,500rpm and delivers a peak torque of 11.2Nm at 6,000rpm. It is paired with a five-speed gearbox for smooth transmission.
In terms of braking, the TVS Raider 125 flex-fuel version features a disc brake at the front and a rear drum brake. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 80/100 front and 100/90 rear tyres. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
When it comes to features, the TVS Raider 125 offers LED illumination all around, a fully digital instrument console, optional Bluetooth connectivity, and a combined braking system. These features enhance both the convenience and safety aspects of the motorcycle.
The TVS Raider 125 flex-fuel version is expected to launch in India in October 2024, with an estimated price range of ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,10,000. With its innovative flex-fuel technology and attractive features, the TVS Raider 125 flex-fuel version is set to make a mark in the Indian motorcycle market.
