Hero MotoCorp recently showcased its highly anticipated Xoom 160 at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 in India. The maxi-scooter boasts an impressive design and a host of exciting features. Let’s take a closer look at what the Xoom 160 has to offer.
The Xoom 160 stands tall with a robust and muscular bodywork. Its fascia, side panels, and overall design are adorned with stylish cuts and creases, giving it a distinctive appearance. The front portion of the scooter features a split LED headlight topped by a smoked visor and a small beak, adding to its pronounced look.
While the Xoom 160 resembles a thorough maxi scooter with its central spine, it is more inclined towards adventure rather than sportiness. Under the hood, Hero has equipped the Xoom 160 with a 156cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This powerful engine generates 14bhp at 8,000rpm and 13.7Nm at 6,500rpm. The Xoom 160 will come with a CVT unit for smooth transmission.
In terms of features, the Xoom 160 doesn’t disappoint. Hero has incorporated LED illumination, keyless ignition, remote seat opening, remote find, a fully digital console, a USB charging port, smartphone connectivity, and navigation. These features ensure a convenient and connected riding experience.
The Xoom 160 offers a comfortable ride with telescopic front forks and dual rear springs. It is equipped with reliable braking hardware, including a single disc at both ends with ABS. The scooter rides on alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless MRF tyres and weighs 141kg.
Hero MotoCorp is expected to launch the Xoom 160 in the coming months, with an official announcement anticipated around April. The maxi-scooter is projected to have an ex-showroom price of approximately Rs. 1.30 lakh.
Overall, the Hero Xoom 160 showcases a perfect blend of style, power, and advanced features, making it an exciting option for adventure-seeking riders.
