Vicky Kaushal Shares Incident of Shah Rukh Khan Apologizing on “Koffee With Karan”

After his acclaimed performance in “Sam Bahadur,” Vicky Kaushal is all set to appear in Raj Kumar Hirani’s upcoming film, “Dunki.” Prior to the film’s release, Vicky shared an incident on Karan Johar’s talk show, “Koffee With Karan 8,” where he discussed an encounter with Shah Rukh Khan.

Apologised During the filming of “Dunki” to Vicky Kaushal

Vicky revealed that Shah Rukh Khan had apologized to him during the filming of “Dunki” as he felt bad for not being able to give cues to Vicky in a particular scene. Shah Rukh had to rush to Delhi, leaving Vicky to shoot the scene with a body double. Feeling guilty about his absence, Shah Rukh texted Vicky, expressing his regret and promising to reshoot the scene. However, Vicky had to convince him that the shot went well and there was no need for reshooting.

Vicky spoke highly of Shah Rukh Khan, praising his dedication and commitment to his work. He mentioned how meeting Shah Rukh made him realize how much more he could do at his age, as Shah Rukh always gives his 100% in everything he does.

“Dunki” is an eagerly anticipated film, and its trailer was released on December 5. Directed by Raj Kumar Hirani and produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan, the film also stars Taapsee Pannu and other talented actors. Written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon, “Dunki” is set to hit theaters worldwide on December 21, 2023.
